Sometimes it isn’t the words spoken,
but the thoughts left unsaid.
The silence in between the noise,
that resonates in my head.
The quiet beside the clutter,
that sparks an echo chain.
A now endless low chatter,
replaying over and over in my mind.
Building it grows within my brain,
until the moment it reaches critical mass;
and I quickly realize it has become,
the clutter in my brain.
