One hundred feet inside my ear,
randomness finding order.
Never does it try to stop,
the sole purpose,
that takes up the void.
Moving around motion,
inside my head.
Quiet noise,
at a fevered pitch,
yearning for silence,
to rise above all.
But nothing can muffle,
the clatter within,
from the random,
forces at work.
As long as I walk,
back and forth,
on this earth,
I pray my persistence,
won’t wander.
So lucky for me,
the lost randomness,
is always trapped,
100 feet inside my ear.
